About
Since 1989, the mission of Altrus, Inc. has been to provide friendly residential alternatives to institutions of individuals with disabilities. The values of Altrus are that all individuals deserve to be treated with respect and dignity and should have the freedom to choose where and how they receive services in the community. We are dedicated to ensuring that adults with disabilities are able to live a normal and full life in the least restrictive living environment of their choice.
Commitment
Altrus will strive to include the principles and protocols of Commit to Inclusion and the I Can Do It, You Can Do It program in our training of Developmental Disability Professionals, Direct Support Professionals, and community members statewide.
