About
Get FIT was founded in 2008 by The Family Resource Network in NJ as a health and wellness initiative for people with disabilities and the caregivers. Get FIT is now a national program, with partners and affiliates in multiple states committed to providing equitable health promotion services for people with disabilities in an inclusive manner.
Commitment
Get FIT will commit to inclusion by providing integrated health and wellness programs to children and adults with and without disabilities in community settings. Get FIT will assist community based recreation centers and gyms with committing to inclusion through the implementation of Get FIT programming.
